• Landscape Management

#Today’s landscape needs go beyond blowing, mowing and trimming. Our clients need to have their landscape resources managed and we are committed to delivering a high caliber of service that can be relied upon. ProQual’s experienced and knowledgeable management team will provide proactive solutions to meet the ever changing challenges of our industry. All clients are equal at ProQual. Whether we are managing a small scale HOA, Industrial Complex, a Master Plan Community or a large scale Commercial Complex, everyone sees the same level of service. We recognize that communication and availability are the key ingredients for success in any relationship and we are committed to always being there for our clients even before they know they need us.

In order to care for and manage all aspects of landscape ranging from water management to full scale tree management to assisting with budgeting and future planning; ProQual Landscaping defines our philosophies, refines our processes and establishes common goals for each property The small details make a big difference and ProQual is managing all of them!

Shrub Management is modified as required by changes in weather, effects in micro-climates and plant specific needs. This ensures that proper watering, trimming/pruning and fertilization is being provided. ProQual Landscaping conducts Selective Pruning in order to extend the life and bloom time of the plant with the ultimate goal of lower maintenance costs to our clients.

Turf Management – ProQual Landscaping watches the core elements of Water, Weeds, Pests & Diseases and Nutrition when managing a successful turf program. Our goal is to evaluate, monitor and control each element with the most deliberately, cost efficient practices. Our visionary approach to some turf challenges positions us to be open to new and innovative solutions to better meet rectify issues.

Irrigation Management – Managing and irrigating your landscape can be costly, but when you have the knowledge and credentials to effectively manage the irrigation system it doesn’t have to be. With the expertise of our Certified Irrigation Technicians and Certified Water Auditors, we can accomplish the primary goals of managing a healthy, attractive landscape while reducing water usage; keeping our clients properties at aesthetically award winning levels. Money that is saved by effectively managing the irrigation system is then used to enhance other areas of the property.

Detail Management – Some say, “Don’t sweat the little things…,” and here at ProQual Landscape we agree. We don’t “sweat” the little things or the details that make each property unique. Instead we search for these nuances and then devote our attention to managing them in a manner that exceeds the expectation of the client and sets us apart from our competitors.

  • Landscape Enhancements

    #

As Industry Professionals, we should all be looking for ways to enhance the quality and aesthetic appeal of the communities that we manage. ProQual Landscaping recognizes that this and the importance of supporting our clients. Enhancing communities increases property values, support from owners and pride in ownership. Our Management Team takes on “ownership” of the properties that we manage in the sense that we have acquired the necessary credentials and expertise to support these new industry demands.

Newer properties can increase the aesthetic appeal of their landscapes by developing and installing additional amenities and a deeper pallet of drought tolerant trees and plants to enhance the visual appeal of their properties. Because of this, maturing properties throughout the valley have become outdated and need to be redesigned and renovated to compete in today’s housing market. ProQual Landscaping has the knowledge and experience to assist in realizing these enhancement dreams and making them reality.

Plant Replacement - How your plant material is managed directly affects overall appearance of your property and can impact property values. ProQual Landscaping can develop plant replacement guidelines tailored to individual community and micro-climate needs. Components that should be considered are: dead plant removal, overcrowding, plants not performing in micro-climates, architectural aesthetics of community, and most importantly, drought tolerance and low water usage.

Granite Replenishment – Granite refreshing is the least expensive improvement you can make with the most visible impact. ProQual Landscaping’s Enhancements Manager will ensure that the key elements of measurement, color, size, areas of priority and proper proposal and installation detail are integrated into our process.

Turf Conversions – With water conservation being a vast concern for us in the desert, it is imperative that we all are good stewards and are doing what we can to preserve our most precious natural resource. ProQual understands that completely eliminating turf is not the most appealing concept. Some properties were purchased because of the aesthetic allure of the turf areas. Our Enhancements and Design Team will work with our clients to minimize the turf areas and realize true water cost savings without totally taking away the beauty and charm that first lead them to purchase their property.

  • Water Management

    #

The focus throughout Arizona is how to use water as wisely and efficiently as possible while continuing to present a healthy and attractive landscape, boosting the overall impression of our properties. Municipalities are increasing costs of water usage and are beginning to put extensive water management programs in place to include the implementation of ordinances that place caps and limits on water usage for large commercial and residential properties. Irrigating landscape can be costly, but when properly managed, it doesn’t have to be. Fully functioning and efficient irrigation is a necessity, not a luxury or an option. Here at ProQual Landscaping we provide complete Irrigation Management with a focus on maintaining an exceptional appearance while reducing water consumption. Our Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors conduct extensive site specific evaluations to include plant water requirements, distribution uniformity of the existing system and current irrigation scheduling. Once the property system analysis is complete, our highly trained Certified Irrigation Technicians take recommendations from our Certified Auditors and implement cost effective solutions by using state-of-the-art technology, exceeding industry standards.

ProQual Landscaping will be your successful Professional Partner that will ensure that your water is being managed properly!!

Water Auditing – Our Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors go through workshops that teach the fundamental water auditing techniques and water management skills to include site evaluations, irrigation auditing, distribution uniformity calculations, precipitation rate calculations, plant water requirements and irrigation scheduling. It was important for us here at ProQual to complete these workshops and become certified in this area so that we can successfully manage your irrigation systems in a rapidly evolving industry.

Backflow Testing - At ProQual Landscaping, we have Certified Backflow Assembly Testers on staff who have attended a rigorous training program and are certified to inspect, test and repair all backflow assemblies and devices. It is required by law in Arizona (R-1S-4-115) that any backflow prevention system must be tested at the initial installation and every year thereafter. When your backflow assembly is maintained and serviced regularly, you minimize your liability. It is important to us to ensure that our clients are complying with this statute and are at minimum risk by providing annual tracking of testing dates and getting the backflows tested in a proactive manner.

Maps & Inventory – You have to know what you have and where it is located in order to manage the irrigation system properly. One of our priorities when we take over a property is to ensure that we conduct a complete inventory of all irrigation components and provide our clients with a map showing where all of their components are on their property. A trained and qualified Irrigation Technician can do a conventional analysis with a written report or a GPS Technician can provide an advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) evaluation that would provide a permanent record of the entire system. This service compliments the other certified services that ProQual Landscaping offers.

Industry Innovations – It is our business to ensure that we are using the latest technology within the industry in order to provide the best services at the lowest costs to our clients. ET (Evapotranspiration) Based Irrigation Controllers are a new technology that uses real time weather data to automatically adjust the programming of the controllers. Greater water savings are realized and labor hours/dollars are saved by not having to micro manage the system.

Water Usage Tracking – ProQual Landscaping understands that we need to partner with our clients and provide any additional services necessary to make every relationship a win-win situation. Our clients are requested to provide us a copy of the monthly bills so that we can track monthly usage, identify and investigate over usage early and watch trends from year to year in order to manage their irrigation system.

24/7 Emergency Response – Irrigation issues can pop up at the oddest hours and strangest times! We take pride in our Emergency Response Program. We are committed to return all calls within 15 minutes of receiving a message and to have issues taken care of within 1 hour. Our network for on-call support is extensive and swift to action. We promise follow-up communication by calling back our clients once the issue has been brought to full resolution and we deliver on our promise. We want our clients to know that they matter to us all of the time and that their property is our priority!

Photo Documentation – As one of our detail services, we provide photographic documentation of all of the irrigation repairs that we make at the properties that we manage. We have found that this provides great documentation to support the work itself and irrigation repair invoices submitted for payment. Our clients give us rave revues for providing this documentation and have let us know that it is a valuable service for them.

  • Tree Care Services

    #

Trees are a lifetime investment and your most valuable landscape assets. As with anything that is supposed to last a lifetime and is valuable, your trees should be continuously monitored and managed by professionals with the right credentials. The Certified Arborists that are part of the ProQual Landscaping Team are dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees and to promoting research, technology advancement, and the professional practice of “managing” trees.

Our Certified Arborists are committed to providing the full range of tree management services to include:

    Certified Arborist Supervised Tree Work
Evaluations for Trimming, Thinning & Crown Reduction
Assessments for Health & Deep Root Fertilization
    GPS Mapping & Inventories
    Tree Removals and Replacements
Comprehensive and Individualized Tree Budget Program

Certified Arborist – Certified by the International Society of Arboriculture, these professionals are trained and tested in 10 areas of competency, are required to have 10 continuing education credits per year to maintain the certification and must retest and renew their certification every 3 years or they are no longer a Certified Arborist. ProQual’s Certified Arborists use this comprehensive level of knowledge to develop tree care programs specific to the individual clients’ community and their trees.

How to Select an Arborist – Would you trust the care of your trees to just anyone? Hiring an Arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Check for their current membership in organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) or the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) to make sure they hold certifications with at least one of these respected entities. Also make sure they hold the appropriate permits and licenses to perform this specialized work in addition to proof of the higher level of liability and risk insurance required for climbers.

Evaluations & Assessments – ProQual’s all-inclusive, property specific Tree Care Programs are built upon our certified experts’ evaluations and assessments. We conduct evaluations of trees to identify trimming, thinning and crown reduction needs per species and size of tree. In addition, extensive health assessments are performed on the individual trees; so that we can ensure that we are always aware of the true health of the trees and can make appropriate recommendations for remedies to administer to unhealthy trees.

GPS Mapping and Inventories – An important aspect of our property specific Tree Care Program is to know where all of our clients’ trees are located by conducting an inventory and providing our clients with a map showing where all of their trees are on their property. Our trained and qualified Tree Workers can do a conventional analysis with a written report or a GPS Technician can provide an advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) evaluation that would provide a permanent record of the entire system. The database that supports this inventory includes data such as: species, crown size, trunk caliper, general health, chemical treatment data, damage and removal/replacement information, date last trimmed, and next date to be trimmed. The trees are assigned individual numbers in the database and can be physically tagged on site for future reference points.

Tree Budget Program – In our current economy the ProQual Team understands that being good stewards of the monies entrusted to us is very important.

We have developed a individualized tree budget program that has proven to be invaluable to our clients. Our Certified Arborists put all facets of our Tree Care Program together and produce an all-encompassing, site specific 5-year plan for the overall care of our clients’ trees. Benefits of having a Tree Care Program and Tree Budget Program:

    Proven cost effective practices
    Knowing what your costs are
Reduced regular maintenance and improved efficiency of your regular maintenance crew
    Emergency expenses reduced
    Problems detected and solved
    Hazards noted and addressed
Better looking – trouble free trees

  • Weed & Pest Control

    #

ProQual Landscaping recognizes that Weed & Pest Control is a tremendous challenge that we must face and manage in our industry.  The successful management of all pests and weeds is taken very seriously at ProQual and we have adopted an unrelenting approach to developing and implementing the most prolific weed & pest management program for our clients.

Our Licensed Applicators aren’t afraid to test the old, try the new and develop our own non-traditional solutions in order to provide the best site specific plan possible.  Whatever it takes is what we are willing to do to ensure that our clients never have to deal with a huge outbreak of this problem.

Key Elements of a Successful Weed & Pest Management Program:

    • Identification – Every pest/weed has a specific solution.  You have to know what it is to know how to treat it.
    • Monitor – Once identified and treated, keep an eye on the situation.  Pests can build up a resistance and ProQual is ready and capable of re-strategizing when necessary
    • Control – We will manipulate the environment in order to avoid pest damage of any kind

ProQual’s Weed Control Program consists of the application of pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides on all granite areas and post-emergent herbicides to turf areas when necessary. We only use products that have been deemed safe by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). All herbicides applications are supervised by Licensed Pest Applicators who are licensed through the Arizona Office of Pest Management (OPM). Our Spray Operations Department is a dedicated team that undergoes regular training regarding herbicide products and spray techniques.

    Licenses that we hold are:

    • General Pest Control/Public Health (B1)
    • Right-of-Way and Weed (Be)
    • Turf & Ornamental (B5)
    • Aquatics (B9)
