Certified Arborist - Certified by the International Society of Arboriculture, these professionals are trained and tested in 10 areas of competency, are required to have 10 continuing education credits per year to maintain the certification and must retest and renew their certification every 3 years or they are no longer a Certified Arborist.  ProQual's Certified Arborists use this comprehensive level of knowledge to develop tree care programs specific to the individual clients' community and their trees.

How to Select an Arborist - Would you trust the care of your trees to just anyone?  Hiring an Arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly.  Check for their current membership in organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) or the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) to make sure they hold certifications with at least one of these respected entities.  Also make sure they hold the appropriate permits and licenses to perform this specialized work in addition to proof of the higher level of liability and risk insurance required for climbers.

Evaluations & Assessments - ProQual's all-inclusive, property specific Tree Care Programs are built upon our certified experts' evaluations and assessments.  We conduct evaluations of trees to identify trimming, thinning and crown reduction needs per species and size of tree.  In addition, extensive health assessments are performed on the individual trees; so that we can ensure that we are always aware of the true health of the trees and can make appropriate recommendations for remedies to administer to unhealthy trees.

GPS Mapping and Inventories - An important aspect of our property specific Tree Care Program is to know where all of our clients' trees are located by conducting an inventory and providing our clients with a map showing where all of their trees are on their property.  Our trained and qualified Tree Workers can do a conventional analysis with a written report or a GPS Technician can provide an advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) evaluation that would provide a permanent record of the entire system.  The database that supports this inventory includes data such as:  species, crown size, trunk caliper, general health, chemical treatment data, damage and removal/replacement information, date last trimmed, and next date to be trimmed.  The trees are assigned individual numbers in the database and can be physically tagged on site for future reference points.

Tree Budget Program - In our current economy the ProQual Team understands that being good stewards of the monies entrusted to us is very important.  We have developed a individualized tree budget program that has proven to be invaluable to our clients.  Our Certified Arborists put all facets of our Tree Care Program together and produce an all-encompassing, site specific 5-year plan for the overall care of our clients' trees.
